THE WEDDINGS OF 1999
Family...
They are what make life worth while. Without them nothing is
really important. For we are who we are due to them and what
we strive for is our sense of being.
This was the year of my oldest nephew and my youngest niece
marriages. First there was my oldest nephew in Canada and a few
months later my youngest niece in the United States. Weddings
brings together family and friends that we rarely see and sometimes
we take for granted. A time of joyous memories and for new
beginnings.
Promises for a lifetime ahead,
In front of family and friends,
They made their vows to love and cherish.
Will it last?
Only time will tell.
It comes down to how much they are
Willing to fight for each other,
In good and especially bad times.
How they weather the storms,
And keep the lines of communications open.
To survive and still care
No matter what life throws.
Being there for each other,
To listen and to love.
Knowing that they are always there
To listen to you,
And hold you whenever you need.
The key to a successful marriage
Comes down to communication.
